What is ACT 52 Senate Bill?
Senate Bill 30 [SB-30] [Act 52] is the Louisiana state law that certain educational entities must comply with federal guidelines under Section 889 (a) of the National Defense Authorization Act when purchasing certain telecommunications and video equipment.
WHAT IS SECTION 889 (A) OF THE NDAA?
Furthermore, the NDAA also prohibits certain institutions from procuring “essential component of any system” as well as “ critical technology as part of the system” from the listed manufacturers.
